Huh. I find myself (bizarrely) shipping Katara and Zuko. WTAF.

Also, Iroh is made of awesomeness.

Ahahaha. I find myself actually quite content with all the canon ships on Avatar, although I definitely see the evidence for shipping Zutara. (I have never seen a fandom so pairingsmush happy as this one.)

Iroh is indeed made of awesomeness and is definitely my favourite character on the entire show.

Iroh is rapidly becoming my favorite, though I really do like all of them a whole lot.

And I don't even know where the Katara/Zuko thing came from. At the point that I mentioned it, they hadn't had any significant interaction or anything, but I was all, "Hey, wouldn't it be awesome if..." and then there was the Book 1 finale and I was like, "HEY THERE, PAIRING, HOW YOU DOIN'?" and I'm a little embarrassed, I'm not gonna lie.

It's complex and Katara wants to kick ass and her brother is bratty and also wants to kick ass and there are a whole bunch of wacky/powerful/awesome old people and the tortured "villain" emo guy is actually not really a villain but is instead a MAN OF HONOR WHO LOVES HIS COUNTRY and they all love their homes and their families and oh oh oh, please join me in shipping those two crazy kids. He loves his nation and his honor and is kind of an emo tool! She loves her nation and wants to kick his nation's ass! TOGETHER THEY FIGHT CRIME! (and each other!)
