Date: 2009-10-09 01:27 am (UTC)(Sorry, random Australian reading friends page). Australia as a nation kind of sucks when it comes to the racism debate. And the times I have wanted to strangle one of my coworkers since Harry Connick Jr made the very correct comments he did is both irritating and telling. If one more person at work start saying how it was just a joke I'm going to throw sharp objects at them.
