if we could avoid writing fic in which basically nice, decent people are suddenly ABUSIVE ASSHOLES*, I would really appreciate it.

*please feel free to replace "ABUSIVE ASSHOLE" with any of the following: Randomly Evil, ZOMG DARK AND TORTURED, "Morally Ambiguous" (when morally ambiguous just means self-centered dick. i.e., 90% of the time), Self-Hating Queer/Woman/Person of Color, Child Molester, etc.

Not in the slightest! I have the urge myself sometimes! Only, then I start, and I have to quit because of the rage. As of now, however, it's really the only thing going re: Gerard/Ray. And you can't say it doesn't bring the emotional porn when needed, because it's got that in spades.
