I like the concept of Fred and there were times that I really, really liked her. I mean, I *loved* the idea of having a physicist in the mix 'cause I love physics and her introduction was awesome, with the crazy-yet-rational and the competence and everything. So I was really really excited.

And then the physicist thing went nowhere, which is sad, and she became Really Super Duper Special and everyone loved her and she got over her craziness in a way that felt really contrived. Plus, you know, I'm not gonna lie, she broke up my OTP. But I could have lived with that! But yeah, it was one of those things where I was expected to think she was the bees knees without really being shown *why* and I have a problem with that, when it's anyone (please see my all consuming and crazy dislike for John Sheppard of SGA), but it drove me nuts especially with Fred because I wanted to like her and I just...was frustrated by her all the time. And that sucked, 'cause she was one of the few people who didn't really fall in love with Angel and that was awesome. So, Fred! I have conflicted feelings about her.

Hee, thanks! I'm so biased against her, mainly because of the breaking-up-my-OTP and everyone-worships-her things, so I wanted to hear what someone more sane than me thought.
